Music Education Built for Your Family’s Schedule
Band, Orchestra, and Choral programs for families in Homeschool, Charter, Online, & other Alternative Schooling
Your child’s musical journey shouldn't be limited by their school choice. While we deeply value the work of our local public school music educators, we know that traditional programs don't always fit the schedules or needs of families in the homeschool, charter, or online schooling communities.
At Exodus Music, we believe high-quality music education should be accessible to everyone. We are filling the gap in the Treasure Valley by providing robust, daytime ensemble programming that focuses on growth and community rather than just grades.
Why Choose Exodus Music's Daytime Programs?
- Professional Leadership. Directed by Idaho certified K-12 educator Jimmy Pérez-Lawrence, providing instruction that meets professional standards while remaining tailored to your child’s individual needs.
- Daytime Convenience and Consistency. Rehearsals are scheduled during school hours to protect your family time in the evenings. We maintain a fixed weekly rhythm that is essential for the success of the ensemble as a whole.
- Multi-Age Community. Our mixed-age groups create a natural environment where students grow together. We prioritize musical development and community connection rather than focusing on traditional grades, targeting mastery of concepts and skills.
- SLAM (Servant Leadership and Mentoring). This formal program allows advanced students to train as peer mentors. These leaders serve the ensemble by supporting younger students and building real-world character through service.
- Innovative Curriculum. We use a forward-thinking approach that blends modern technology and customizable methods with a foundation of traditional ensemble excellence.
